World Ready (PSHE) at Hermitage Academy
Our PSHE and RSHE curriculum supports students’ personal development and prepares them to lead safe, healthy and responsible lives. We equip young people with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, relationships and future. Students develop positive character traits such as resilience, self‑worth, honesty, kindness and integrity, while also learning about relevant laws linked to the topics they study.
Our RSHE programme builds on primary learning and covers family relationships, friendships and, in an age‑appropriate way, intimate relationships. This progression helps students understand the wide range of relationships that support a successful and fulfilling adult life. Ultimately, through PSHE, we aim to ensure every student leaves Hermitage Academy confident, capable and truly World Ready.
