Our sixth form students celebrated their A-level results today with some fantastic performances.
Due to their hard work and determination, many of our students will now go off to study at prestigious Russell Group Universities or move into local employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
Notable successes include: Dylan Spurr, who performed incredibly and is now going on to study medicine; Ben Pringle who achieved high grades, which have unlocked the door to study for a computer science degree; Adam Mohammed who will now go on to study law; Finlay Blair who performed superbly; Chloe Gardner who will be studying accounting; Leah Kelly who is off to follow a degree in biomedical science; Thomas Tsang who will study chemical engineering; and Lewis Lennox who moves on to study business management.
Our Head of School, Mr Stewart said:
“We are incredibly proud of our students who have shone brightly. Throughout their time with us, they have demonstrated such determination to achieve their very best in some difficult circumstances, and it is that which we celebrate and recognise today. They are an absolute credit to the school, their families and the community that they represent.”
Executive Headteacher, Yvonne Weston added:
“We are delighted to witness the students’ successes and to have seen them grow into the kind and generous adults they have become. We are extremely proud of the way our students have faced the challenges of their educational journey and, therefore, what they have accomplished. The students are an inspiration and positive role models to other members of our school community and beyond.”
We wish you all the best in your next steps!
