We would like to give a special mention to a group of keen readers from Year 8 who formed a team as part of the National Reading Champions Quiz!
The regional heat of the national quiz took place online last half term. The exciting event was designed to inspire our students to read even more and be an opportunity for students to have a great time sharing their knowledge with their friends.
We are very proud of the team - Huw Gowdy, Millie Ottaway, Demi-Leigh Fraser and Holly Bridgeford who did exceptionally well! Each received a certificate, book and a bookmark. The team worked very hard, meeting in the library once a week to practise. Fantastic work everyone!
