DUring the Easter break, a group of our students enjoyed a trans-European adventure spanning France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, before finally arriving at Hochfügen, Austria.
Our students had the most wonderful time skiing in the Alps. Commencing their ski lessons on Saturday morning, they took their skiing to new levels each day. Their instructors: Peter, Phillip, Timothy and Leonardo, gave glowing reports after each challenging session.
We also enjoyed some fantastic entertainment including bowling, pizza party, quiz night and the most memorable fancy dress party. The trip would not have been complete, however, without Mrs Jamieson's tuck shop serving us all with the best sweet treats to keep our energy up after a long day on the slopes!
Throughout the journey and trip, the views have been breathtaking but what really stole the show was the progress made by all students. Their resilience and determination to achieve was second to none.
All our skiers have been an absolute credit to the school, conducting themselves in an exemplary manner throughout all activities. Their respect, humour and kindness have been outstanding. It has been their joy in experiencing new cultural traditions, cuisines and customs that has been truly marvellous to see.
