Our Computing Club enjoyed the exciting opportunity to compete in the regional round of the first Lego League!
The team were tasked with designing and coding a Lego robot to complete a range of tasks. 'Athena' scored more and more points with each round, ending in a fantastic 230 points in the final round!
The team also had to pitch their solution to this year' innovation project, 'How can technology and the arts be used to increase participation in what you love to do?'
With a focus on Lego the team created some interesting solutions for how Lego could be accessed by people suffering from colour blindness, who struggled with their dexterity and who struggled to afford to buy Lego.
