Congratulations to this May's Head of Year awards!
Year 7 Chloe for always applying herself in school in the most dedicated way, even when she is a little tired from performing! Her dedication to extra-curricular is outstanding - she is a theatrical star! Chloe is respectful, conscientious and polite young lady who has a steely determination to succeed. She is always making others (including staff!) smile and this is no shock with her incredible 517 positive points!
Year 7 Jayden for always being polite and respectful. Jayden demonstrates exactly why manners matter – his kind words do not go unnoticed and often are the highlight of people’s day. He is committed to learning, always asking the hard questions to find out more and always in deep philosophical thought, ready to meet every challenge head on. He is an avid attendee to our War Hammer club, amongst many of the other clubs he attends. Jayden has an impressive 288 positive points!
Year 8 Liam who has grown in confidence throughout the academic year and has gone from strength to strength.
Liam has achieved a fantastic 397 positive points this year and was top point scorer across the month of April where he achieved a magnificent 78 points which was the highest across the year group. Liam has particularly excelled in History and English where his attitude to learning has been particularly impressive.
Year 8 Charlotte who has achieved a massive 577 positive points which is a testament to her incredible attitude to learning. During April Charlotte accumulated 60 of those positive points across 10 different subjects. A massive well done!
Year 9 Darcy for being a kind and diligent student. Darcy receives positives across a range of subjects, excelling in English, maths and particularly history. Darcy enjoys her athletics and recently represented the school in the district athletics competition. Well done Darcy, keep up the great work!
Year 9 Edward who has received nearly 500 praise points across all of his subjects this year. Edward works exceptionally well, excelling in maths, English, IT and geography lessons and enjoys gaming in his spare time and has chosen IT as one of his GCSE options next year. Great work Edward, keep it up!
Year 10 Huw for his consistent high-level dedication to his studies and his excellent work as part of student council. Huw is an integral part of the year group always on hand to support the school with events and demonstrates integrity in all aspects of school life as well as representing the school for cricket and other sports.
Year 10 Katie for achieving an impressive amount of achievement points in her subjects and for representing the school in a number of sports. Katie continues to volunteer to support the school in extracurricular events and is an excellent ambassador for her sport.
