It was lovely to welcome back our Year 9 students after the Easter break and get back to our Wednesday Winners!
This week our shining stars are Adanna and Harvey. Adanna is an exceptional student with amazing aspirations. As well as always meeting Hermitage standards and expectations, receiving multiple Laurea Stamps and lapel badge subject awards for being dedicated to her learning, Adanna still finds time to learn and achieve more in her passion, linguistics. As well as studying French in school, Adanna has taught herself Korean, Japanese, Thai and sign language! She has even started teaching languages to others and wants to teach English as a foreign language in Korea in the future. We can't wait to hear about which language Adanna will learn next...
Harvey has been nominated by his music and history teachers after he performed a piece from The Greatest Showman on the keyboard in front of the class and contributed brilliantly in every history lesson, showing excellent promise ready to start the GCSE course in Year 10! Harvey has shown a massive improvement in his approach to learning and attitude around school and despite a nasty injury before Christmas, Harvey has bounced back and worked hard to catch up and stay on track.
