From now on, the Year 9 team will be meeting every week to nominate students who we think are 'Wednesday Winners!'. These students may have shown enthusiasm and effort in class, gone above and beyond what we would expect to complete an outstanding piece of work, or perhaps have shown kindness and compassion towards others.
This week's Wednesday Winners are Jack Wragg and Jasmine Taylor-Burrell.
Jack was nominated for demonstrating his caring nature to others in the class. Jack has recently bought a 5-minute journal and shared with his class the activities in it to improve wellbeing and suggested how it could really help parents and children in lockdown. Well done Jack for showing your kind and caring nature towards others, especially at this difficult time!
Jasmine puts 100% into every lesson, attempting every task she is given and is always seeking to improve her work. She has shown excellent enthusiasm, participation and resilience when completing work online and is always motivated and engaged with her learning. She has been awarded virtual Laurea Stamps in maths, tech and English ICT, music, art and geography! Well done Jasmine, keep up with the excellent work!
