We would like to congratulate our Head of History, Miss West, who recently became a teaching ambassador for The Defiant Requiem Foundation.
During the summer, Miss West was one of twenty outstanding educators who were invited to learn online with the American foundation. Miss West was chosen to participate due to the years of experience she has as a teacher and her demonstrated commitment to best practices in Holocaust education.
The Defiant Requiem Foundation promotes accurate and universal education of the Holocaust and aims to tackle modern issues with engaging educational material.
The Educational Director of The Defiant Requiem Foundation personally thanked Miss West for her meaningful contribution and gave special mention to how well she adapted to differences in timezones and the varied overseas school curriculum framework.
