Who said there could be no school trips while school is closed? Recently, our Year 12 business students attended a virtual conference with local entrepreneurs and members of staff from The Social Co, a successful social media agency in Durham who have worked with huge companies such as Audi.
Students listened and spoke to successful entrepreneurs who shared their interesting business journeys. Our students left the conference feeling extremely inspired, particularly at the fact that one of The Social Co’s most successful employees is only 22!
Some important messages from the meeting that stood out to our students were to always stand out in the crowd, never underestimate the importance of hard work and a strong work ethic and in particular, the phrase ‘never give up’.
