Sam Boland

Sam joined the Academy in 2006 as part of the geography department while completing her teacher training.  She has a wealth of experience in teaching and learning and holds a masters in Advanced Professional Practice. 

Throughout her time at the Academy she has taught in a variety of departments, including RE, history, maths and English as well as holding the SENCO position for five years. 

Since becoming an Assistant Headteacher, Sam has continued to support a range of departments and currently has responsibility for curriculum, intervention, homework and enrichment, as well as the attainment and progress of disadvantaged and catch up students along with those students eligible for free school meals.
